Meet Brian
Brian S. Anderson is an attorney at Anderson Law Firm where he focuses his practice on civil litigation, estate litigation, estate planning and administration, and business law. He enjoys helping individuals and families navigate important legal decisions and develop practical solutions that provide clarity, protection, and peace of mind.
Before joining Anderson Law Firm, Brian gained experience representing clients in a variety of legal matters throughout Western Pennsylvania. His background includes extensive civil and personal injury litigation, where he handled matters involving pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions practice, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation. He has also handled estate planning and administration matters, including drafting wills, powers of attorney, and other estate documents, opening and administering estates, and representing clients in estate-related proceedings. His prior work also includes oil and gas title matters involving property ownership, mineral interests, leases, and easements.
Brian’s litigation background gives him a practical perspective when advising clients on civil and estate related matters. Having spent years resolving disputes and navigating complex legal issues, he understands the value of careful planning and proactive legal guidance. He takes pride in helping clients anticipate potential challenges and developing solutions tailored to their individual circumstances.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Point Park University and his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, where he attended the evening division while working full-time in the legal field. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Michael E. McCarthy of the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County and participated in Duquesne Law’s Wills and Estates Clinic, assisting clients with estate-planning matters.
A lifelong Pittsburgh-area resident, Brian lives in the South Hills with his wife, Riley, and their dog, Saoirse. He understands that legal matters often arise during important moments in his clients’ lives and values the trust they place in him to provide thoughtful, practical guidance.
