Meet Joshua

Attorney Joshua A. Snyder concentrates his practice on estate and trust litigation, with additional experience in family law, criminal defense, and general civil litigation, as well as estate planning and administration.

With nearly twenty years of courtroom experience across Pennsylvania and Virginia, Joshua brings a litigator’s perspective to every matter he handles. He represents clients in will contests, trust disputes, fiduciary litigation, and contested estate proceedings, guiding families through some of the most difficult and emotionally charged circumstances they may face. Joshua understands that these disputes are rarely just legal questions, and he works to resolve them efficiently while protecting his clients’ interests and relationships.

Joshua earned his law degree from William & Mary School of Law in 2005. He began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Newport News, Virginia, and went on to serve as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney there before relocating to Pittsburgh, where he spent several years as an Assistant District Attorney in Allegheny County. Over the course of his career, Joshua has first-chaired numerous jury and bench trials, briefed appeals before appellate courts, and developed a reputation for thorough preparation and sound, practical judgment.

Outside of the office, Joshua enjoys cooking, enjoying nature, and spending time with his family.
